2A Tablas de Daimiel National Park -14

Hi! My name is Sand. I´m going to tell you about the Tablas
It is situated in south-center of  Spain in the
Mancha plain in the province of Ciudad Real.
The rivers Guadiana and Gigüela go through them.
The fresh water of the Guadiana favors the growth of the
Common Reed (Phragmites australis, Phragmites
communis), and the briny water of the Gigüela favors the
growth of the marshy vegetation.
The migratory fauna is made by Purple Heron, Grey Heron,
Little Egret,Black-crowned Night Heron, etc.
The Tablas de Daimiel has two types of water. They make an unusual ecosystem. The Guadiana River contributes fresh water, but its tributary, the Gigüela River, gives it salty water.
It´s a fantastic National Park come to see it.
