ANNE AND GREEN GABLES by Aury

Hi, I´m Aury again! I’m going to tell you about the Reading book “Anne and Green Gables”. Marilla and her brother Matthew wanted to adopt an orphan boy to help Matthew on the farm, but the orphanage sent a girl, Anne Shirley. At first, they didn’t want to adopt her, but they changed their opinion. They loved Anne, and Anne loved them. She was very happy in Avonlea. Anne and her neighbour, Diana, were good friends. Anne was very clever, and she got very good marks. She was impolite because she didn’t have parents who taught her to be polite. She was impolite to Mrs. Lynde because she told Anne that she wasn’t very pretty. She fought against Gilbert. He pulled Anne’s hair, so Anne hit him with a book and Mr. Phillips, the teacher, punished Anne. She got very angry. Anne worked hard all year. She went to the Teachers´ College in Charlottetown to take an exam and passed it with the best mark. In the College, Anne won the Redmond Scholarship. When she came home for summer, she was worried because Matthew and Marilla weren’t well. Matthew died and it was possible that Marilla wouldn’t see anything in six months. Anne left the College and she taught in Avonlea School because Gilbert gave her his position there. Then he taught in the neighbour village. They became good friends.

KING ARTHUR by Sunny

It is Christmas time in the year 450 AD. King Uther Pendragon of Britain is dead. All the knights in Britain decided to go to the Cathedral in Canterbury to choose a new king.
Then the knight Arthur realizes that his sword is missing. He goes to the Sir Ector knight's castle, but no one has the key to enter.So knight Arthur goes to the Cathedral but he sees a sword stuck in a rock and pulles it out.The knights see sword called Excalibur and name the new king of Great Britain.
The magician Merlin created a round table for the knights and King Arthur to chat ...King Arthur and his knights have many adventures. They rescued women, fight evil dragons ...King Arthur moves into a castle with Queen Guinevere and marries her, although Merlin warnes him to have many problems in Camelot.Merlin has got a crystal ball and sees his future. He sees someone come to Camelot but he to leave. But King Arthur doesn't let him to go but the wizard Merlin is.The knight Galahad, sees a sword in a rock in the lake and takes it. King Arthur makes him the best knight in Britain.
The knight Lancelot sees a door in the castle in wich a light is illuminating. He sees the Holy Grail, but the wind pushes him and leaves the room.
Later knight Galahad sees the goblet on a table. A voice asks him to touch the Grail, then he dies happy.
The Knights set a trap to the knight Lancellot to fight against King Arthur, because he doesn't want to fight. Lancelot is in love Guinovese. He wants to fight Sir Mordred King Arthur, but in the end, King Arthur killes him.
King Arthur ask Bedivere to throw his sword Excalibur into the lake, but a woman's hand appears from the lake and takes it. King Arthur is ill, his half-sister Morgan Le Fey and another woman take him to Avalon.Camelot is never crossed by thieves, giants or dragons.

The knight Arthur realizes that he hasn’t got his sword and goes to look for it to the knight Ector's castle. When he reaches the castle no one has the key, then he turns and goes back to the Cathedral. On the way there is a sword stuck in a stone and he removes it. All men who are leaving the Cathedral see the knight Arthur with his sword in hand and find a message that is written on the stone. It says “The real king is pulling the sword from the stone”. Arthur becomes the new king of Britain. He lives in a castle in Camelot. He falls in love a girl named Guinevere, but Merlin advises him he that she is going to cause problems in Camelot. He fights against evil men and dragons, he rescues women…At the end he marries Queen Guinevere.
Merlin has a crystal ball and she sees that the magician has to leave because someone wants bad things to Camelot. King Arthur tells magician Merlin not to leave but he ignores it. The next day a beautiful woman named Nimue wants to learn Merlin’s magic, so Merlin teaches her his magic. Merlin takes Nimue to a beautiful cave and she uses black magic to let him to sleep. People even say that Merlin is already sleeping. King Arthur knows he has got a half-sister, Morgana Le Fey, who is jealous of King Arthur. She comes to Camelot to kill King Arthur with black magic. Morgana Le Fey tells her husband to kill King Arthur in a fight. But King Arthur wins it. Morgana builds a castle with black magic in the top of a lake that it always has got grey clouds.
The knight Lancelot is the greatest knight of the Round Table. One day an old man comes to Camelot, and tells the knight Lancelot to go with him to his monastery. When they arrived there, they see a very nice, young man. The old man says he is Sr Lancelot’s son and he wants to be a knight like his father. He accepts and takes him to the castle. There Galahad takes a sword from a stone. The castle has a chair and it gives welcome to sir Galahad, the best knight in the world…One day Mr. Galahad and the other gentlemen are sat at the Round Table and a gold cup appears. It moves over to the Round Table.King Arthur says that Our Lord Jesus used the cup at the Last Supper. They call it the Holy Grail.One night Mr. Lancelot has a dream in which he sees the Holy Grail, but an angel doesn’t let him to touch it. After many months Mr. Lancelot, arrives at the castle. He climbs the stairs and reaches a closed door and a voice tells him that he can see the Holy Grail, but he can not enter into the room. Suddenly the door opens and he walks in, but a strong, hot wind stops him and he goes out of the room. Mr. Lancelot felts bad for a long time.After a few months the knight Galahad goes to the castle and sees her father sleeping. He opens a door and enters into the room. He sees the Grail in a table made of gold. The knight Galahad kneels in front of the table and kisses the Grail. Then he falls in front of the table and dies happy.
Sr knight Mordred wants to fight against King Arthur and King Arthur is injured. King Arthur asks Sr Bedivere to pull the sword Excalibur into the. But a hand of a woman goes out of the lake with the sword. The knight Bedivere leaves King Arthur in a boat with Morgana Le Fey and more women. The ship disappears into the clouds. No one has seen the King Arthur again.

King Uther Pendragon of Britain is dead. All the knights in Britain decide to go to the Cathedral in Canterbury to choose a new king. Arthur is the new King. He lives in Camelot and he marries Guinevere. Merlin, the wizard, is King Arthur's friend and his teacher but he has to leave him.
After a few days, the beautiful Lady Nimue comes to Camelot. King Arthur has got a half-sister called Morgana le Fey. Morgana is very jealous of King Arthur and wants to kill him.
Sr Bedivere puts King Arthur in a boat with Morgana Le Fey and other women.The boat disappears into the clouds on the lake. Nobody has seen King Arthur again.

Hi, we're here The Cams" again.This is our slide show about our first Reading Book "King Arthur". He is a very nice and strong knight of the Round Table. He marries Guinevere and they live in Camelot. Merlin,the magician helps him.
He has to fight a lot, but he wants peace. At the end, he disappears in a boat to Avalon and nobody has seen him again.
