2B Cabrera Archipielagos National Park -10


Hi, my name is Yuli.
I’m going to tell about the Archipielago de Cabrera.
The National Park Cabrera Archipelago
is a group of Spanish islands belonging to the
Balearic archipielago.
 It was declared a national park on
Maritime Terrestrial on 29th April in 1991.
It is formed by 19 islands and islets.
It is located 10 km from Cape of Ses Salines in Cabrera,
a Balearic island in Spain.
It is very important its marine flora,
so it is interesting to remember that about 85% 
of the area of the National Park of Cabrera is sea.
There are 160 species, among which there are algae.
The marine fauna consists of over 500 different species.
There are many reptiles, particularly noteworthy
Balearic lizard populations
The main seabirds are highlight the kestrel,
peregrine falcon, hawk Eleonor.
Come and enjoy in this park!

I am going to tell you about The Teide Natural Park.
It is situated in La Orotava, 
Santa Cruz de Tenerife in Spain.
This park is a volcano. 
The last recorded eruption in Tenerife 
was the Chinyero volcano, in November 1909.
It is a very beautifull place to visit.

2C Europa Peaks National Park -9


Hi, my name is Rodeno 2001.
I am going to tell you about The Europa Peaks Natural Park.
It is situated in the north of Spain, in the Cantabrian Mountains.
The Europa Peaks are a mountain range located in north of Spain that belongs to the central part of the Cantabrian Mountains.
The flora is mainly species of Atlantic plants and Mediterranean plant species developed in this national park. The vegetation in the Peaks can be differentiated acording the height at which it is located. Oaks and beech often dominate. Above 1500 meters, vegetation is limited. There are notable species of the genus: Saxifraga Sedum. In a lower height can appreciate the presence of plant species: such as ashes,junipers, birches, walnut or lime, and some species of flowers: such as the Cantabrian aquiline, the wallflower field or evergreen. We can also find carnivorous plants: such as Pinguicula vulgaris.
The fauna is made by roe deer, wild boar, fox, bears or wolves. In rivers there are otters, dippers, kingfishers, Atlantic salmons and trots and grouse, with black cock, partridges, wild cats, dormice, squirrels and genets.

2A Urdaibai Reserva Natural Park -21

I’m going to tell you about the Urdaibai Reserva Natural Park.
It is situated on the shores of the Bay of Biscay 
on the Cantabrian coast.
This varied degree of municipal involvement is that 
the geographical area of ​​the Biosphere Reserve of 
Urdaibal is not 
determined by political boundaries , 
but by the watersheds of the Oka , Map , Artigas 
and Lag rivers that empty into the Cantabrian Sea.
The flora that is developed in Urdaibal has got a 
purely Atlantic base. With its abundant grasslands, 
oak groves, lush forests and especially coniferous 
plantations of fast-growing Pinus radiate. The 
Cantabrian Mountain covered forests of oak and 
madrone is. This plant world, which has been 
described 615 species of plants, is home 
to a diverse fauna with descriptions 
of 318 species of vertebrates245 of which are birds.
The large number of ecosystems that occur in the 
protected area of Urdaibal causes 
the fauna richness is high, 
with 318 species recorded, excluding aves. 5 
These are noted for their presence and importance, 
with 55 identified species of waterfowl families 
herons, ducks , rállidas , carádridas , 
escolopácidas and láridas.

I’m going to tell you about the  Cabrera Archipielaqos Natural Park.
Cabrera Archipelago is a group of Spanish islands belonging to the Balearic Archipelago and was declared a national park on April 29, 1991.
This archipelago belongs to the municipality of Palma de Mallorca.


      It has got great natural value, since, due to its isolation throughout history, it  survived to this day virtually unchanged: the coastal landscape of Cabrera can be considered one of the best preserved of the Spanish coast, and one of the best in the Mediterranean.



There are also important colonies of seabirds and native species and many reptiles, aquatic animals, corals, flowers but there isn´t a lot of mammals in it.
 

. Because of its biological wealth and abundance and variety of birds, it has also been declared as SPAs (Special Protection Area for Birds). 


It is a good place to go to rest and unwind! 

2A Ordesa y Monte Perdido National Park -7

I’m going to tell you about the Ordesa and Monte Perdido Natural Park.

It is located in the Pyrenees of Huesca in Spain.

In this park there are mountains, rivers and animals.
In general the climate is typically cold.

The flora of the park consists of 1,400 species, representing almost 45% of the plants of the Aragonese Pyrenees, of which 83 are native to the Pyrenees.

The park has a varied fauna. It´s been counted about 38 species of mammals, 68 of nesting birds, 5 amphibians, 8 reptiles and 5 fish in the park.

Come to visit this park. It is great.

I´m going to tell you about The Gruta de las  Maravillas  Natural Park.

The Cave of Wonders is located on the Snow Well Street next to the Plaza de San Pedro, in the town center of Aracena in the province of Huelva, 89 km from Seville in the southwestern of Spain in the Andalucia region.

It was discovered by a shepherd in 1886. It was opened to the public in 1914, the first cave in Spain to do it.

There are rock formations of extraordinary beauty: vertical and eccentric stalactites, stalagmites, flowstone, curtains listed, aragonite, coraloides, gours, etc.

I love the natural parks and I’m going to tell you about 


It is situated in Lanzarote in the Canary Island in Spain.
Timanfaya National Park is one of the most important
natural areas of the world,
as it constitutes a unique ecosystem in which
we can observe how life is established.
Its value has been recognized by the European Union
with its declaration as a Special Protection Area and
Site of Community Importance.


This island destroyed half a raging volcano eruption on Friday September first 1730  year of to ten in the evening  in the village Chimanfaya, three leagues from the Villa Capital Teguise, which repited opening various mouths, four years later, devouring many villages and raising great mountains where there was none. Their little sand was thrown over six miles away.
From this place it is said it is not a dead land, but new born. Although seemingly desolated, these rugged landscapes have been colonized mainly by the plant world. Predominantly black and reddish hues and sand and dark of basaltic lavas, all dotted with spots of different colours belonging to the many lichen species. You cannot forget its biological wealth and the large number of endemic plants and animals.
As weather conditions are harsh because there are few species of terrestrial vertebrates.There are rats, Canary shrews, rabbits, lizards and. In bird is the barn owl, the barbary partridge and doves. Timanfaya Park has got a rich and varied marine fauna: sepia and brown starfish, octopus,.

Hi my name is Nanao and I´m going to tell you  about Monfragüe Natural Park.
It´s in Cáceres, Extremadura in Spain.
In 1979 it was made a Natural Park. In 2003 it was made a UNESCO World Heritage Site.  It has mountains and forests.
The flora is made by oaks, pines,  and shrubs.
The fauna is mostly birds like eagles, herons, and storks. There are also mountains lions, foxes, weasels.
It´s a good place to see the stars at night because the sky is very clear.

I’m going too tell you about  The Ordesa and Monteperdido Natural  Park.
It is located in the north of Huesca, mainly in the Pyrenees Mountains in Spain.

It occupies the municipalities of Torla, Broto, Fanlo, 
Tella-Sin, Puértolas, and Bielsa.

His Flora is mainly Park vegetation. The soil cover by edelweiss that give rise to a multiplicity of climatic variations influencing plants distribution and Animal Park land. 

In his Fauna there is a variety of animal species. There is cataloged a total of 5 species of amphibians, 8 reptiles, 65 of the 106 nesting birds have been observed and 32 mammals. With the presence of several endemic and, until recently, the extinct subspecies P. Capra pyrenaica, the result of an abuse of hunting, genetic degeneration and competition with other species.



This park is very beautiful.

I`m going to tell you about Las Tablas de Daimiel Natural Park.
It is located in Castilla-La Mancha in Spain.

The flora of The Tablas de Daimiel is adapted to certain conditions extreme wheather, soils and and saline condition of the  water.

 In the fauna all animas groups are represented in Las Tablas De Daimiel although the most representive is the waterfowl that gives the Parque international importance. Among the the most common birds that inhabit
The Tablas de Daimiel there are red ducks, mallards, herons, little egrets, great crested grebes and pochards. There are coots and moorhens with waders stilts and avocets.

This is a beautiful park. I invite you to go there!

Garajonay is a Natural Park situated in La Gomera in the Canary Islands in Spain.

Its extention is about twelve mountains.

In the flora The Canarian Green Mountain is the key element of Garajonay, covering more than 85% of its surface.

The fauna of Garajonay is also remarkable. There are about 1,000 species of invertebrates, 150 native to that area.

It is situated in Aragon in Spain.

Gallocanta Lake is in the middle of the Iberian Peninsula on a plateau 1,000 meters above sea level.

It is a lake characterized by having water.

In the entire basin of Gallocanta Flora will vary depending on terrain and its proximity to the lake.So on the slopes of the mountains we find forests of oaks. While in the plains around the lake, cereal and some fields of saffron appear.

In the Fauna we can find the common toad (Bufo bufo), the midwife toad (Common midwife toad), the tree frog (Hyla arborea), the ocellated lizard or ardacho (Lacerta lepida), the water snake (Natrix maura), fox (Vulpes vulpes), roe deer (Capreolus capreolus), griffon vulture (Gyps fulvus) and wild boar (Sus scrofa) are some of them

I´m going to tell you about The Teide Natural Park.
 Teide is a volcano. It is situated in Tenerife in the Canary Island (Spain).
This volcano is the highest peak in Spain.
The flora in Teide is mostly violet flowers and silver thistle.
We can find rabbits, bats and lizards there.
The weather there is warm. You can go to spend your holidays and enjoy with the visit to Teide.

In this park there are about 200 types of animals and 50% of them are invertebrates.

It is  located  in the western Mediterranean Sea, near the eastern coast of the Iberian Peninsula. It  is 10 km from Salt Cape in southern   “Mallorca”. It is exactly in the Balearic Islands in Spain.

About  85 % of the area of the National Park in the Cabrera 
is sea. The great biodiversity of these waters has allowed 
Cabrera archipelago National Park become.
It has got a Mediterranean climate. 
In the area of  land  the Archipelagos of Cabrera 
has got a typical Mediterranean vegetation, mainly pines.

Among the reptiles, particularly noteworthy stocks in 
Mallorca Balearic lizard called “sargantana”.

Its situation is in Montes de Toledo or Castilla-la Mancha in the northwest of Toledo and Ciudad Real provinces in Spain.
This landscape is formed by one plain and a mountains range.
There are many types of flowers as the birch or the yew and many different trees.
The animals  that  live are insects, grasshopper, butterflies, toads, birds, curlews, deer and vultures.
