Hi, my name is Rodeno 2001.
I am going to tell you about The Europa Peaks Natural Park.
It is situated in the north of Spain, in the Cantabrian Mountains.
The Europa Peaks are a mountain range located in north of Spain that belongs to the central part of the Cantabrian Mountains.
The flora is mainly species of Atlantic plants and Mediterranean plant species developed in this national park. The vegetation in the Peaks can be differentiated acording the height at which it is located. Oaks and beech often dominate. Above 1500 meters, vegetation is limited. There are notable species of the genus: Saxifraga Sedum. In a lower height can appreciate the presence of plant species: such as ashes, junipers, birches, walnut or lime, and some species of flowers: such as the Cantabrian aquiline, the wallflower field or evergreen. We can also find carnivorous plants: such as Pinguicula vulgaris.
The fauna is made by roe deer, wild boar, fox, bears or wolves. In rivers there are otters, dippers, kingfishers, Atlantic salmons and trots and grouse, with black cock, partridges, wild cats, dormice, squirrels and genets.
