2C Sierra Nevada National Park -12


Hi! My name is Tiger233.
I´m going to tell you about the Sierra Montana Nevada Natural Park.
Sierra Nevada is in Granada, in the south of Spain.
Sierra Nevada is a Mountain Range. It´s the second largest range of Spain.
There´s a lot of snow because Sierra Nevada is 3.000 meters about sea level. In Sierra Nevada there is the “Mulhacen”, the highest peak in Spain.
Sierra Nevada´s flora is varied, at the Cerro Del Trevente´s foot, there is the Botanic Garden of La Cortijuela. There are many species of flowers like the Erysium Nevadiense. It is a very unusual flower.
In Sierra Nevada there are many species of animals like the Eagle Carriageway, the Royal Whistle or the Royal Eagle that it is endangered.
Sierra Nevada was named Natural Park in 1999.


2C Tablas de Daimiel National Park 16


Hi, my name is Devil.

I´m going to tell you about the Tablas de Daimiel Natural 

Park.


It is located in the Road from Daimiel to Molemocho in Ciudad Real in Spain.




The main  Mountains are Montes de Toledo 
made by limestone.
And in this natural park are different 
types of rivers Tablazo River, Guadiana River, 
Cannal of the  Cigüela River.
In In the flora of this natural park we can find many different types of trees. Some names of them are Taray, Salicaria, Masiega, Enea, Encina, Carrizo, Calaminon, White Poplar.
In the fauna we can find different kind of animals:
Fox, Shoveled, Great Crested Grebe, Coloured Duck,
Buterfly Pandoriana, Ocellated lizard, Otter,
Kingfisher, Heron, Common Coot, Stilts,
Warblerand Marsh Harrier
This park is  beautiful and  I would like 
to recommend  you to visit it.

I­´m going to tell you about the Sierra Nevada Natural Park.
It is situated in the Penibético System in the south of Spain in the village of Monachil, 32 kilometres from Granada.
The flora of Sierra Nevada is very rich and varied. According to the Ministry of Environment of Spain, there are 66 endemic vascular plant species, representing the highest biodiversity in the Iberian Peninsula and one of the largest in Europe. The total number of higher plants is around 2,100, representing a quarter of all known species in Spain and fifth in Europe.
The queen of wildlife in Sierra Nevada is the Spanisk ibex Capra pyrenaica). There are also species of small birds, a number of raptors and more than 20 species of butterflies.
Sierra Nevada was declared a National Park in 1999 because of its flora and fauna, including many species and many others endemic species.
I invite you to visit Sierra Nevada. It’s a great place!



2B Athlantic Islands National Park -3

I’ am going to tell you about The Atlantic Islands ofGalicia Natural Park.
The Atlantic Islands of Galicia National Park is the only national park located in the Autonomous Community of Galicia in Spain. It takes the archipelagos of Cíes, Ons, Sálvora and Cortegada up. The park covers a land area of 1,200 ha and a sea area of 7,200 ha.
This sea-land ecosystem has a laurel forest and over 200 species of seaweed. It also stands out for its shellfish, corals and anemones. As for wildlife, one can see seagulls, shags, razorbills, guillemots and dolphins.
The islands were occupied by various monastic orders during the Middle Ages.  They owned to the Church. They were gauged by nobles of the time and attacked by invaders who used them as a base for raids on the coast. In 1980 the Cies Islands were declared  Natural Park.

I’m going to tell you about The Monfragüe Natural Park.
Monfragüe is located in the center of the province of Caceres, between that forms the famous cities of Plasencia, Trujillo and Caceres.
Monfragüe, with 18.396 hectares, was the first protected area of Extremadura. This Natural Park on 4th, April in 1979 became the first place with plants eucalypts.
In July 2003, it was recognited as Biosphere Reserve for the great lands in the Natural Park.
In Monfragüe there are different ecosystems with different fauna and flora’s characteristics. There are Mediterranean Forest Landscapes. This is one of the last ecosystems in Europe.
There is Mediterranean fauna with more than 200 species of vertebrates animals and there are more in the winter.
This is a spectacular Natural Park. I would like you went there. I’m sure that you would enjoy a lot.





2B Picos de Europa National Park -1

I’m going to tell you about The Peaks Europe Natural Park.
The Peaks Europe is a mountain range located in northern of Spain that belongs to the central part of the Cantabrian Mountains.
It is located by Cantabria, Castilla  León and Asturias Autonomus Communities. They occupy a total area of 67,455 hectares in the three provinces.
There are over 2000 documented plant species that inhabit the park. Here abounds the Atlantic forest, lush, full of oak, beech, ash, chestnut, oak, holly...
In the animal’s wildlife in the National Park Peaks Europe abounds  the golden eagle, osprey, vultures and owls.
Today the National Park Peaks Europe is the second most visited in Spain, after the National Park of Teide National Park in Tenerife.
It's a beautiful place! I recommend you visit!

I’m going to tell you about the “Caldera deTaburiente” Natural Park

The Caldera de Taburiente Natural Park is a protected area of Spain. It is located on the island of La Palma,  in the Canary Islands in Spain. Like the rest of the archipielago 
is of a volcanic nature.

The Caldera of Taburiente is an immense depression the world’s largest of its kind.

The Canary Island pine is the species that dominates and shapes the landscape.

Most of the park’s wildlife is representated by arthropods, mainly insects.
