2A Tablas de Daimiel National Park -14

Hi! My name is Sand. I´m going to tell you about the Tablas
It is situated in south-center of  Spain in the
Mancha plain in the province of Ciudad Real.
The rivers Guadiana and Gigüela go through them.
The fresh water of the Guadiana favors the growth of the
Common Reed (Phragmites australis, Phragmites
communis), and the briny water of the Gigüela favors the
growth of the marshy vegetation.
The migratory fauna is made by Purple Heron, Grey Heron,
Little Egret,Black-crowned Night Heron, etc.
The Tablas de Daimiel has two types of water. They make an unusual ecosystem. The Guadiana River contributes fresh water, but its tributary, the Gigüela River, gives it salty water.
It´s a fantastic National Park come to see it.

Menus

Hi! We are the ABC Crocodiles again!
This year we have an American Teacher Assistant
She is teaching a lot of things about her country:
Noth America
We have worked Food from different regions in pairs.
Each person has created its own Restaurant.
On the left part of the Menu we have written the name of the
American Region, a picture about the Menu and
a slogan to invite people to come to our restaurant.
On the right part of the carboard,
we have shown our Menus.
We have offered three Starters, 2 Main Courses,
 2 Desserts and 2 Drinks.
We have written the price in dollars
and if the taxes were included or not.
We have also made oral dialogues with them.
We have learnt a lot. We hope you enjoy our work.

Peace

Hi, everybody .
We are the ABCD crocodiles again!
The 30th January, as we do every year,
we celebrated
the Day of the Peace.
We collected and sang songs for Peace.
Then we made an exhibition with them.
We put our "projects": the songs,
the word Peace in English, Spanish,
French and German and
some pictures about peace on the wall.
